Deciding to blog

When I was in high school I used to write a lot, mostly poetry I was quite inspired by the works of Edgar Allan Poe. Going into college I thought I would become a journalist, but with time and the busyness of life things changed and it has been far too long since I’ve done any writing.
Until recently, I hardly knew anything about blogging, I had had very little experience with blogs. Yes, I had seen them thanks to links on Facebook and pinterest but most I hadn’t even realized were blogs. I still have plenty to learn about blogging, but I am willing to learn and look forward to it along with sharing my sucesses and failures at blogging and other projects on the farm. I am enjoying getting back to writing again, and I look forward to sharing this journey with you.

  1. Blogging is a great way to interact and connect with people who share similar passions. Good for you for jumping in, and best of luck. It is a good habit to keep up, and you learn as you go! 🙂

Your goat pictures caught my eye. I also have goats, two which are expecting babies in April. So exciting! I am hoping to use my blog to share the experience with other goat people.

    Cheers!

    1. Thank you Melissa. As my first commenter and follower you will always hold a special place in my heart. I look forward to hearing more about your goats and seeing your blog posts. How long have you been blogging? I hope to have more to blog about soon my goal is to get where I blog everyday.
      Nice meeting you

      1. Hooray!

The goats will be kidding in early April, but I am hoping to do sort of a mini magazine (hand-drawn and super simple!) to document the experience. I will keep you posted.

I have been blogging since March of 2012, but have not been entirely consistent. To get into the habit of blogging regularly, (I am far from that but I am trying for weekly) I find it helps to set up a project and schedule for yourself.

Good luck, and I look forward to seeing what you come up with! 🙂
